it is the little death that occupies the screen.
I will not read the spam, i will delete it with vindictive glee.
I will not send in for my free disney vacation.
I will not believe I need to impress my girlfriend.
I will not accept 42 million dollars from the daughter of the former minister of east gamboolo
I will not believe operators are standing by to offer me a zero percent re-financing on my house.
I will not send away for my free television, stereo, groceries, or gasoline.
I will not heed the spam, tho it be many and plentiful and comes forth from every direction

- SpamAssassin is a mature, widely-deployed open source project that serves as a mail filter to identify Spam. SpamAssassin uses a variety of mechanisms including header and text analysis, Bayesian filtering, DNS blocklists, and collaborative filtering databases. SpamAssassin runs on a server, and filters spam before it reaches your mailbox. (stolen directly from their webpage)

The GTUBE (Generic Test for Unsolicited Bulk Email) [1] is a test by which you can verify that the filter is installed correctly and is detecting incoming spam, in a similar fashion to the EICAR anti-virus test file.
Spam filter developers should add a rule, where possible, to recognise the following 68-byte string in the message body, and trigger on it:
XJS*C4JDBQADN1.NSBN3*2IDNEN*GTUBE-STANDARD-ANTI-UBE-TEST-EMAIL*C.34X
